About Us
Our love of fabrics and gardening started as far back as memory takes us.
MTG home & garden is a small-batch, artisanal company. Our towels and aprons are all made by hand in New England.
Our Eastern European ancestors were highly resourceful. If something was needed it was grown in the garden or made-by-hand and made to last. As proof of this, we cherish some beautiful, handwoven fabrics and linen towels our grandparents made over a century ago…still in use today!
Along with our newly sourced fabrics, we offer vintage Metis fabric repurposed into kitchen and guest towels when available. Additionally, we offer original, antique European torchons, many never used and mostly dating back to the mid 1800’s.
Whether we’re designing award winning gardens or working with exceptional fabrics, we honor those who went before us. All of our towels & aprons are made-by-hand creations with diligent consideration to beauty, quality and durability for this and generations to come.
